Shipping & Delivery

Every product displayed as in stock should be delivered within 48 hours of order.  Orders will be sent free of charge using Royal Mail Special Delivery which guarantees a next day delivery before 1pm. If we receive an order on our website before 2pm we aim to despatch the order the same day. Delivery times may be extended during certain busy periods and we will always inform you if we cannot meet the promised delivery date.  We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, as a signature on delivery is required.

If an item you wish to order is placed on backorder, we will confirm the delivery date to you.  If the date is not acceptable, we will cancel your order and refund your payment.

Privacy & Security

When you place an Order, we may ask you for certain information and you may submit personal data to (for example your name, contact numbers, postal address, email address, bank/credit card details).

We are committed to protecting your privacy; we will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.This is the way we handle information:

E-mail Addresses

When a visitor gives us an e-mail address while placing an order, or when visitors send us e-mail correspondence, we retain the visitor’s e-mail address. We contact visitors by their e-mail address to confirm an on-line order, to respond to a sender’s e-mail query and occasionally to inform customers about new products and promotions.

Visitor-Keyed Information

We retain information provided by our visitor, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) and contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number).

Telephone Numbers

Visitors who give us their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed online.

We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others, other than our credit card processors Streamline who will process your data only so far as is necessary to fulfil your order. Returns & Replacements/ Guarantee

Goods damaged in transit to you will be replaced with free delivery, after you return them to us. Please inform us of breakages as soon as possible when you receive the order in order to speed up your refund.  We will also refund your return postage in postage stamps to match the value.

Items purchased from Libby Butler Jewellers are covered by our 14 day money back guarantee. If you are not happy with your item you have 14 days to return it for a full money back refund.  Items that are returned must be new and unused in original boxes and with all paperwork.  Personalised (e.g. engraved or made-to-measure/special order) items are also not covered by this guarantee.  Earrings are sent in sealed packaging and will only be accepted if returned with the seal intact for hygiene reasons.  We will only refund return / exchange postage costs if the item returned is faulty.

Goods returned to us arriving damaged, or lost, will not be credited.  Please ensure you use special delivery insured service.

Our products are guaranteed against manufacturing faults, but not misuse. To maintain the condition of your jewellery remove when showering, swimming or when undertaking manual or domestic work.

New and unused means that there are no scratches, marks, blemishes on the item; there are no signs of wear on the product; and the product must not be altered in any way.

The item is your responsibility until it has reached us. We recommend that you send the item using a recorded delivery service that insures you for the value of the item.

The above terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.

However, Libby Butler Jewellers cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. Availability of Goods

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them.  If the item is not available in your required size (in the case of rings/ chain lengths etc.) we will contact you to offer a delivery date before completing the order.  If you are not satisfied with the new delivery term, we will refund your payment and cancel your order.
